Here's a strange photo of me...it looks like background is cut in the PS, but believe me on word, it's not. There's my studio back there, only, camera seemed to pull a trick with light and for some reason, most of it turned out dark.
This is actually me on a studio window...friend and I were preparing for repainting it (we already started removing old paint, as you see) and he wanted to make a shot of me and this is it...yeah, my hair is all fuzzy once again
But the way background turned out still looks strange...if anyone could explain it to me, I would really like to know
Hehehe. It's great! I love the contrast and the way the light is working. If you said you'd done it on purpose, then everyone would be impressed. LOL It probably has more to do with the focus settings, actually... (I'm feeling knowledgeable since I'm reading photography books right now.) ... the background was already dark and the closer focus blurred the background into that lovely grey. Nifty effect, no matter if I'm right or not.
Thanks, glad you like it And yeah, I agree people would probably be impressed by the effect, but on the other hand, it wouldn't be very honest of me to say I did it on purpose...and I'm too d..n curious about what happened? But your explanation sounds interesting, so I guess I'll stick to that for the time being
LOL I know. I'm always doing the same thing ... telling people I'm not sure how it turned out the way it did. I hope someone with knowledge can explain it.
