When I asked for a piece of paper to write some address on, the other day, my sister just frowned: “You make so many notebooks and similar, why don’t you make one address book for you, already?”
And truly, why not?
So I did and let steampunk style carry me a bit, resulting the thing in front of your eyes.
It’s a hard covered notebook, size 4.5cm x 3 cm. Gears on back done from scratch, made of multiple layers of PVA glue and gold paint…when dried, this “creation” was simply glued on the back of the book. I’m pretty satisfied how that turned out, all tough it could probably look better.
Letters of my nick are done in similar way, but directly on the covers.
And now I have an address book.
