Named after famous Russian dolls, just because my friend mentioned they remind him on it :)
Materials used are classic bookbinding materials, cardboard, paper and textile (and of course glue). There's no text or print in any of them, as I currently don't have any magnification tool strong enough for writing such small paper (especially the last one).
These books are small, with sizes (in centimeters and millimeters):
Biggest:
2cm x 2.2cm (1.8cm covers width, 2mm spine width in frontal look)
Middle:
7.5mm x 9mm (6mm covers width and 1.5mm spine width in frontal look)
Smallest:
3mm x 4mm (2mm covers width, 1mm spine width in frontal look)
The last one is for sure one of the smallest hand binded books on the world...and it's binded in classic fashion, with classic materials...all who like and understand microbinding, know what I'm talking off and why.
And I'm pretty certain, it's "the smallest" world notebook, as nothing is printed inside ;) )
Please, download for full (and best) view :)

UPDT:
Big "thanks" to =simoneyvette fors suggesting it for DD and ^Kitten-of-Woe for featuring it.
Also a big, big “thank you” to all who faved or commented this ^-^
I will try to say thanks for all favs (unorthodox in this cases, I know, but feels right) and reply to any question or similar in comments, but will take time…so if I didn’t said ”thanks” on your page yet, don’t think I forgot…just didn’t get to your gallery yet;)

Matryoshka Books by *Maylar. These books measure from 2cm x 2.2cm (13/16" x 7/8") for the largest one to the tiniest one at only 3mm x 4mm (1/8" x 3/16")!! The suggester said, "*Maylar has used traditional book-binding skills to make possibly the smallest hand-crafted books in the world. Titled 'Matryoshka Books', they make the viewer think of the traditional Russian dolls that fit one inside of the other (and for some reason, I just wanted to play with them in a macro/micro dream world). I don't know how she has done it, but these tiny books are just amazing to see!" ( Suggested by *simoneyvette and Featured by `Kitten-of-Woe )

I'm more than glad you like it :) It is time consuming, making these, but also very fulfilling and since I have to jump between different branches of art, every now and then there's a new book coming out of it.
Heh, I have three DD's as well and your son is right...the thrill never ceases :)

And this is why, Mother Earth, I wept inwardly for thee at the moment of the immense parade called Time: the clowns were passing, and everybody knows that inside, somwhere, their hearts are broken.
