Miniature I Ching set, containing the box and stand, with the miniature book of all I Ching hexagrams, 50 yarrow sticks and in addition to it, box with 72 temple fortune sticks. This is not a coin including set.
Box is faux cinnabar and the turtle is set on top because this animal is connected to I Ching by tradition. The stand is pear wood, lacquered black.
Book is 1.8 x 1.4 cm large, contains two part chart of miniature hexagrams and then all 64 hexagrams with accompanying ideogram as well. The book is bound by thread only, with one of traditional Asian stitching and has gilded symbols on first and last cover.
Each and every bit, from weaving of thread and knotting the knot, to bookbinding, making/sculpting/carving of the box, stand and inner cylindrical box and finally carving out the sticks by hand, is done solely by me and by hand.
