Place of SilenceSilence there is an extradition of sound
a quiet snowflake
falling, falling
but never really touching the ground,
in the dark, in that place
where light never existed
and all the objects touched by it
have never been named…
Silence there could be almost sensed,
felt under the fingertips,
thick enough to be cut.
It has a certain deafening quality
that can't be described by words,
as a word can not be uttered there.
It is a silence caked with dust,
crusted in immobility through eons passing by,
deep as the well with stars on both ends,
fat from all the things eaten
and not one digested.
It is a silence, made to be broken
