Yes! I knew so many people who didn't get it! They would buy all their clothes from the local goth shops, listen only to music styles with "gothic" in the name, they'd try to behave in a gothic way all the time, whatever that means.. and a few years later you see them wearing colorful badly-taylored crap from trendy shops and listening to whatever is at top of the charts and they have the nerve to say that all goths are just going through a phase. Those guys just won't admit they didn't get the point in the first place >.>
