Cinderella

Here's a miniature Cinderella, caught just in the moment of climbing into carriage, while fairy repeats: "Don't forget, return by midnight...".
Little PVA figurines, painted later with water based paint. Carriage is little less than millimeter high, everything else is beyond my measuring capabilities right not (don't have right ruler for this).
Few years ago, I used to do these things quite a lot, for a hobby...then, as my paintings and illustrations turned bit more popular, job demanded much more of my time, so I had to leave few hobbies...and this, being very time consuming, go with that.
I am quite sorry I don't have any of earlier works to show Most were given to my friends and acquaintances, over the years, some were destroyed of my movings and some lost...on the other hand, this gives me a chance to start all over again, working on my favorite themes
The other day in my comments, someone mentioned Willard Wigan, micro-artist I admire for quite some time...and that reminded me on these works of mine, making me eager to make something new, time or no time.
As one little girl from my surroundings suggested her favorite fairytale, I did this first. It's bit rougher, as I haven't do this in quite some time, but I think the "feel" start to return slowly
So, trust me, I don't intend to stop on this...expect other "needles" from me and those who know my taste, you know what to expect

P.S. If you wondered, that thing in the background is a spool of thread.
P.S.S. Sorry for not so good photos...these figurines have much more details than it's seen (like horse saddles, faces, fairy's wand in her hand), but all that is next to invisible here, as my camera just can't caught it. Hopefully, once I'll manage to buy a stronger macro lenses, so until then, you might look on this as on WIP, too
