Here's something small and now, lost...friend wanted to take a look, wasn't really careful and the book was gone before we know it *sigh* Only things that left are these photos.

Unfortunately, it was lost before I could take size reference photos (by the ruler or coin or similar, but it is (was) some 8mm (0.31 inch) high and 5mm (0.19) wide...

Covers are made of my own version of fake leather, dyed dark green (there was a lovely marble-like effect there, too, but hardly visible on these photos). Book in reality is somewhat brighter, but only for a shade.

Silver gilding is done in silver paint and PVA glue. There's 25 pages inside.

Well, I hope some snail or insect somewhere enjoys their new journal ;)

Hope you like it :)

Thank you very much, glad you like it...I'm planning making a new one, one of these days. There's annoyance in repeating the same design, but there's still feeling like I hadn't finished it, just because it got lost

hopefully you find it. it seems things that small find themselves in some odd places. like inside a couch or a heating vent. good luck. sorry that you lost it though its amazing, i dont think i could have the patients needed to make something that small. at least you got photos of it.

Yeah, I know, I still hope it'll turn up somewhere.
And well, yeah, at least I have the photos :)
As for patience, I love doing small things, so it's an enjoyment you know :)

i can see that... i lack patience. it would agrivate me till the very end allthough i think id find the end product worth it.

I understand...trust me, even with my love for the miniature, I still lose patience every now and then. In those cases, it's the aggravation exactly what pushes me trough ;)
And the final product is what it counts, eventually :)
