Silent angel...
It is rarely that I find a model whose face truly inspires me to something...usually, it's the other way around, I get the image in my head and then seek for a model.
But, seeing the rare and special beauty

's face poses, immediately triggered this image in my mind. To the last details, it just unfolded and I absolutely had to ask for a permission to use the photo. I was incredibly happy for receiving that permission. So big, big thanks to Dermot

I hope we will do something together again

This is done in pencils, mechanical pencils and some Indian ink. Contrast and brightness adjusted in PS to accomplish the look of the original, but nothing else.
To my eternal sorrow, my scanner just has problems picking up the details...it's a nightmare. Not to mention other things, the face (the skin) in this image especially suffered...it has much more details and shadows than you can see. I'm thinking about taking a photo instead of scan and if I do and it succeeds, this will be replaced with it. But, until then, here's this so you can at least see the idea.
Hope you like it...interpret it however you want and I would truly like to hear what thoughts this triggers and what you think.
All together, it transcends time and space. There is also a good balance of space and elements, old and new, human beauty stripped of non-essentials.
